The workouts are designed to be short, intense and effective.
Improve your performance and reduce the risk of injury by warming up properly before each workout. A proper warm up should be considered a vital part of your workout, not extra! Starting your dumbbell workout warmed-up allows you to get the most out of your workout, from the first minute to the last!

The Different Phases To The Superior Dumbbell Workout |
Every workout section is split into Phase I, Phase II, Phase III and Build-It-Yourself Workouts.
Complete Phase I workouts for ALL of the different workout sections before moving on to the Phase II workouts. Complete Phase II workouts for ALL of the different workout sections before moving on to the Phase III workouts. Complete Phase III workouts for ALL of the different workout sections before moving on to the Build-It-Yourself workouts.
Your workout progression looks like this…

Each Phase uses more difficult exercises, so by the end of Phase III you won’t recognize yourself or your abilities! Plus, as you progress, you’ll be able to mix and match your dumbbell workouts to meet your personal goals, needs, abilities and limitations! You’ll systematically build a body that performs AND looks great!
Follow Each Workout For A Maximum Of 4 Weeks |
Variety is an important part of your training. Make sure to change your workouts after every 4 weeks. This keeps the improvements coming and keeps you from getting bored on your way to a better you. This is not a problem, because there are 5 sections, each with three phases. PLUS, you’ll be able to build your own workouts, for a lifetime of effective dumbbell training!
There are so many interesting exercises and workouts to perform in the Superior Dumbbell Workout you’ll want to change frequently. Just follow the progression guidelines provided, and watch your muscles grow, your fat melt away and your strength and conditioning skyrocket! Everything is spelled out for you!
End Your Resistance Training With An Optional FINISHER |
Depending on the difficulty, intensity and duration of the regular workout, you may want to augment your training with some “Finishers”. A Finisher is an exercise normally done for time at the end of the workout to further over-all improvement. This is a great way to boost intensity and improve work capacity!
A list of “Finishers” is provided after the descriptions of the regular workouts.
Follow The Optional Cardio Recommendations |
While the bulk of your training is done with dumbbells, performing added cardiorespiratory training can further add to your results.
I recommend 6 different ways to do this, in order of preference...

Depending on the difficulty, intensity and duration of the regular workout, perform a separate “Cardio” session either after the regular workout or on a separate day.

Cool Down After Every Superior Dumbbell Workout |
These workouts stress your entire body. Improve recovery and reduce the risk of injury by properly cooling down after every session. Faster recovery means more muscle, stronger muscle, less soreness and the ability to get the most out of every workout.
